Wine Tourism around Montpellier

Languedoc is a land of vineyards, wines and wine-growers offering a variety of wines in order to enjoy the delights of them.

In South of France, Languedoc vineyard is the largest of the world, stretching from Massif Central to the Mediterranean Sea.

In our vineyards, vine has been cultivated since Antiquity. Languedoc has a great diversity of “terroirs”, with different soils, climates and grape varieties. Each one is unique the quality is increasing year after year.

Coteaux du Languedoc, Corbières, Limoux, Minervois, Saint-Chinian, Côte du Roussillon, Fitou, Costières de Nîmes … Here are a few names are among the most famous.

Exhibitions

Montpellier is a destination with a lot of cultural programming throughout the year.

Montpellier is about 15 international festivals. It is also home to many exhibitions, including “Pavillon Populaire”, which hosts major exhibitions of photographs, not to mention Fabre Museum in “Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole”, whose rich collections make it one of the very first Fine Arts Museums in Europe .

Celebrations and Traditions

Villages around Montpellier will drive you to unusual activities such as Camargue bullrace, tambourine, hiking, cycling, golf and nautical activities.
